Q: What is the minimum age requirement?
A: The minimum age requirement for volunteers is 12 years old or must be attending junior high.

Q: Do I need prior experience working with children?
A: No, all we ask is that you are open and willing to learn, love and care for the children we serve.

Q: Is there a dress code?
A: We encourage volunteers to dress comfortably, modestly, and appropriately. Think of clothing you'd wear to play actively with children – jeans, t-shirts, comfortable shoes, etc. We simply ask that clothing be respectful and not overly revealing.

Q: What kind of training or orientation is provided?
A: Every volunteer must complete our annual training offered each August. They will also receive in- class training in the classroom they will be serving in. Each volunteer 18 years old and over must complete a background check and complete the Mandated Reporter Training.
